Film Information Edit
The Innkeepers is a 2011 American horror film written, directed and edited by Ti West, produced by Dark Sky Films and Glass Eye Pix, and distributed by Magnet Releasing. The movie focuses on, Claire (Sara Paxton) and Luke (Pat Healy), two young employees at the Yankee Pedlar Inn, a once-grand hotel that is about to close, and they are the only employees working during its final weekend of operation. Claire is a recent college dropout who suffers from asthma, Luke runs a website chronicling the hotel's supposed hauntings, and both are ghost hunting enthusiasts and are fascinated by the hotel's supposedly haunted history. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in as the pair of minimum wage “ghost hunters”, with the help of Leanne Rease-Jones (Kelly McGillis), a former actress who left her career in acting for one as a medium, begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to "be mere footnotes" in the hotel’s long, unexplained history.
