Game Information Edit

Super Mario 3D World is a 2013 platforming game and the sequel to its 3DS counterpart, Super Mario 3D Land. Mario and friends attempt to rescue fairy-like creatures called Sprixies from Bowser. There is similar gameplay to 3D Land, which combines the free-roam gameplay of 3D Mario games with the mechanics of 2D side-scrolling Mario games (there are even flagpoles and timers in every level). The player can play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Toad. Rosalina is a hidden fifth character. New items are also introduced, such as Lucky Bells, Super Bells, Double Cherries, and Cannon Boxes. After saving the last Sprixie, Mario and friends see Bowser re-capturing the Sprixies and heads to his amusement park fortress, where they confront Bowser's cat form "Meowser".
