Game Information Edit

Pokémon GO is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game developed and published by Niantic. In it, players use a phone's GPS capability to locate, capture, battle, and train Pokémon, who appear on the screen as if they were in the same real-world location as the player. Upon reaching level 5, players choose one of three teams to join: Team Mystic (blue), Team Valor (red), and Team Instinct (yellow). While released to mixed reviews and attracting controversy for things like an increase in accidents, becoming a nuisance in some areas, and security concerns, it quickly became a global phenomenon and one of the biggest mobile apps in 2016, having been downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide.
