Game Information Edit
Mirror's Edge is a 2008 action-adventure platforming game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is set in a quasi-futuristic dystopian society, in which a network of "runners" (including the main character, Faith) transmit messages while evading government surveillance. The player guides Faith over rooftops, across walls, through vents, and other urban environments, and passing obstacles with parkour. Actions include sliding under barriers, tumbling, wall-running, and moving across ledges.
In GAME LAB Edit
Mirror's Edge was the inspiration for the first episode of MatPat's GAME LAB, titled "Can Gamers SURVIVE the Real Mirror's Edge?". In it, MatPat and Mari and Flitz from Smosh Games learn from a parkour expert and navigate various obstacle courses inspired from Mirror's Edge. A woman cosplaying as Faith appears in the 360° viewing episode "HARDCORE PARKOUR...in 360!".
