Game Information Edit

Life Is Strange is an episodic graphic adventure game developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix, and consists of 5 episodes released throughout 2015. It focuses on Maxine Caulfield, a photography student who has the ability to rewind time, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect. After her friend Chloe Price is shot and killed, Maxine rewinds time to undo it, but Chloe continues to be killed in various ways. After foreseeing an approaching storm appearing to have been sent to destroy the time paradox, Max and Chloe confront the fact that Max brought the storm into existence by taking advantage of her time travel abilities, and the only way to prevent it is for her to go back in time once more and allow Chloe to be killed. Max must make a choice: sacrifice Chloe's life to save Arcadia Bay, or sacrifice it to spare Chloe. Actions adjust the narrative as it unfolds, and reshapes it once allowed to travel back in time. Fetch quests and environmental changes represent the forms of puzzle solving in addition to using branching choices for conversation.
