Call of Duty is a first-person shooter game franchise published by Activision. The games are mostly either single-player campaigns or online matches. The games feature a variety of guns, explosives, gasses, etc. to use against the enemy. The first three games take place during World War II, and the other games feature their own story arcs, namely Modern Warfare, Black Ops, Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, and the upcoming Infinite Warfare. While mainly on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation consoles, the series has been taken to Nintendo consoles and mobile.
