Game information

Chrono Trigger is a role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995. Its story follows a group of adventurers who travel through time to prevent a global catastrophe. The game features time travel via time gates or the time machine Epoch, in which they can travel to various points in in-game history, and can change the timeline. There are thirteen possible endings.

Chrono Trigger was a critical and commercial success and is considered one of the best games of all time, with critics praising its multiple endings, plot-related sidequests focusing on character development, unique battle system, and detailed graphics.
