Game information Edit

BioShock is a first-person shooter game series published by 2K Games. The first game takes place in 1960, in the underwater city of Rapture, built in the 1940s by Andrew Ryan. In 1959, war broke out in Rapture between its classes, leaving it a dystopia. The protagonist is Jack, who stumbles upon Rapture after his plane crashes near the city's bathysphere terminus. Guided by Atlas, Jack must protect himself from Splicers and save his family from Ryan. The sequel takes place 10 years later, and the protagonist is Subject Delta, one of the first Big Daddy test subjects who was abandoned by its creator. Subject Delta discovers his origins and fights a cult created by Dr. Sofia Lamb to prevent a threat to the surface world. The third game takes place in 1912 in Columbia, a floating city in the sky. After an incident, it was disavowed by the government and fell into civil war. Only two factions remain: the Founders, remnants of retaining power led by Zachary Comstock, and the Vox Populi, a resistance group led by Daisy Fitzroy. The player controls Booker DeWitt, a former disgraced member of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency to recover a girl named Elizabeth, who had been held captive in Columbia by Comstock.
