Ōkami is a 2006 action-adventure mythology game developed by Clover Studio and published by Capcom. Set sometime in classical Japanese history, the game combines several Japanese myths, legends and folklore to show how Japan was saved from darkness by Amaterasu, the Shinto sun goddess, who took the form of a white wolf. The game features a cell-shaded visual style and the Celestial Brush, a gesture-system to perform miracles.
